You have to realize--we are talking like 10 minutes here, nothing that could be called "cardio." This is getting in shape to get in shape! I also have Pilates. And as time goes by I will get the little weights.

I bought The Flat Belly Diet. I think it will fit nicely with my interests in cooking and also for exercise.

I'm not able to do much in the way of walking because of my daughter. She can't keep up a pace--too little. But I do have a treadmill that I will use.

Breton, what PT exercises do they have you doing? Also, CARDIO is anything that raises the heart rate for a period of time. Cardio does have to be running as fast as you can, in fact, many exercise guru's are against that. Optimal fat burning occurs at 60% of your heart range.

I think I have over exercised my stomach. It's not a six pack anymore. Not a 12 pack. It's not even a case anymore.

It's now a keg and I'm so distraught. OW turn from me with disgust. It's horrible. I didn't want a kegger, the instructor didn't tell me about this.

How do I downsize to a six pack once again?

Thank You!

LOL OK, What are we talking about here? Are you overweight? If so, how much? Diet is the key to the 6-pack. Diet and cardio lose fat. Give me some of your stats and experience training and I will see what I can put together for you.

Actually, I was just kidding. I do work out 3 times a week (cardio and weight trainning). Have been most my life. I have the same waist I had in high school 34" and last measured my body fat at 10% which isn't all that bad, but those 6 pk abs at my age (47) are illusive. Had them back in my 20's and early 30's, but not since then. What really gives me more satisfaction then a 6 pk at this point is keeping my blood pressure, cholesterol and triglycerides in a healthy range.

"Better than wonderful". Love that for you.

As for the X I know he is alive.
We speak about the children when need be.

My goodies: My children. My family. My girlfriends I go out with when I don't have the babies.

After 1 year of divorce and 3 years of living on my own. I have given my self permission to feel the butterflies.

thanks again.

There can be no testimony without a test.

Lissie, are you sure he is alive? LOL Remember, breathing and taking up space don't count for being alive! LOL Butterflies huh? Well Well, you will have to tell more about that one! LOL As for me, I am seeing someone, its gotten pretty serious, but I am mindfull of things. I am really trying to be an effective communicator about things. I have been totally open and honest about my past marriage, the failures, the issues, my issues and problems and my willingness to improve as a person. She has also done the same. Who knows where things will end up, but..... LOL I m optimistic! LOL I know, everyone don't have a heart attack! LOL As for the XW, Well everyday that passes is one day closer for her burning in hell! LOL That's the way I look at it nowadays! Sorry, as must of you know, I am not one who has a lot of sympathy toward an MLCer who walks off and leaves her kids. I guess I need to work on that one! LOL
