Oh definitely OW should be there! LOL

I think the WAS with kids should sit through a couple custody hearings. It turns my stomach the wrangling that goes on and kids are reduced to nothing more than names on a piece of paper. Oh, but wait, that would mean they might still have a conscience and we know that most do not.

I will just let base legal straighten out DH, if it comes to that. If I have to counter-file something, It will go to DH's command. Then he can explain it, as he would not only be in trouble for violating the UCMJ, he would also be shunned for it after parading me in front of all the chiefs last year when he was selected.

The financials in our instance are mind-boggling, but in our case, for DH, it would definitely be "cheaper to keep her". 60% of his base pay, all of his BAH, and I am guaranteed half of his retirement and his military savings. His half is negotiable. I have not worked in 5 years and all of my bills are paid off. There is only one joint account left and he will not give me my card for it. Oh, and then there are my student loans, equaling over $50K now, plus law school. I hope he is praying for me to get a scholarship. I get the bigger car, which he is still paying on.

I would still rather have him than all of the money. He means way more to me than that, anyway. But, I will not be foolish if it comes down to that.

Living God's blessings with grace and dignity~
