Reading about your friend makes me think of a couple of things. I believe that if a spouse decides to end their M without really making an honest effort to try to rebuild it, then we as a society, as a culture, as a community and as a government should prohibit that person from ever being eligible for M again.

Still, I would suggest continuing to support your friend as a friend but making known to her how you feel about her transgressions and that you will -- in love for her -- continue to hold her accountable, just as you would expect her to do the same for you. If that is a deal-breaker for her to continue to be your friend ... then it would be her loss.
