Friday night report: there will be no second date....total disaster...my screening process needs to be a little more stringent. That is all I will say.
Tonight has to be better...screening process was much longer.
There was no crying but I did learn that the screening process is important. Ali, i will go read my stars to see what may be in store for me tonight.

LOL!! A friend of mine told me that there was a real good looking girl in that movie. When I watched it, I was almost as shocked as the main character was when the particular scene occured.

All kidding aside, let's just say that i am in my forties and she acted like we were 16.....not my type. I am all for trying to stay young but..... maybe tonight will be better....actually i am sure tonight will be better even if I end up having supper with one of Kerry's models! Well maybe not.
Well John just go with an open mind, its just a few hours of your time used up if nothing clicks and hey it's out. I'd go to the opening of a paperbag for a free supper.--well almost.
too bad you are in the UK.... I am actually taking her to a nice italian restaurant. If we don't click, at least the food will be good. It ia a little risky though...slow service etc. Apparently she is old fashioned...so i guess I am buying. I always buy. I always go with an open mind and low expectations. Hopefully, I will be pleasantly surprised.
I hope so too. Funnily enough I am going to a nice Italian on Wednesday unfortunately its an all female do, but the waiters are worth going for just to feast my eyes! gosh I sound desperate,not really but they always make a fuss of us older ladies. On a cynical note it could be because when I go with my children they seem to think I am the one paying. Hopefully the conversation will be so riviting that you won't notice the slow service. Timing is very important for me when eating out, not too slow but I hate to feel rushed. God luck.
