I would be insulted too if I were you Pearl. It is pretty condescending for him to think you would believe his intentions are to visit the cats.
Not to tread on any toes, but my response would be "We both know you are not coming for the cats, so please stop asking to see them."
Not sure you should listen to me tho, I am feeling pretty disgusted so my judgment may be off.

No, seeing OW really doesn't bother me. It's that I want to inconvenience him the way he's jerked me around. But I will follow Silver's lead and take the high road. Sigh.
spellfire - It's not that he didn't show any interest in the cats, he would play with them and pet them. But it was clear from the beginning that they are my cats so my responsibility. I brush them, clip nails, feed them, empty litter boxes, take them to the vet, and all their expenses come from my money.

Tawnya, I may need you to hold my credit card for me. I did more shopping today! I justify it by saying I don't have anything that fits so I need to build up a whole new wardrobe. But the problem is I have expensive tastes. And a SF wardrobe looks entirely different than a WA/AK/CO wardrobe so I really do need to upgrade.
