When are you going to start your fast? I am having a hard time focusing and getting my mind right. The websites you showed me were great and will help out a lot. I tried to start Monday but have already failed. I want to do it right - so I am starting again. I am going to start Friday and go for 40 days with a daniel's fast.

I started it yesterday. All liquids until next Tuesday. I will do that until next Tuesday, then Wednesday start a Daniel. I will switch to liquids again the last week before Homecoming, with a water fast the day before the ship pulls in. It is not quite 40 days, but God knows what is in my heart and why I am doing this.
It went well. The headache I had right before church was a little rough, but two ibuprofen and it was gone. Lots of water and juice so I do not feel hungry.
it is not easy and the further you get in the harder it will get. I will not lie to you. The enemy does not want you to succeed and will do whatever it takes to stop you from achieving victory over his minions. Let God lead you and rest in Him when your resolve flags.
