I think the changes are good enough for your W. She's just stuck in the mode of "I can't believe..." It's like believing in Santa Claus or God, you can't see them, but sometimes you've got to take the leap and just "know" someone is going to be there to catch you.
It's called faith. It's something that our W's have very little of right now in their slash and burn attitude right now. They keep on running until they hit a wall themselves. It's like in Forrest Gump when he ran across America. After Jenny left him, he just got up and kept on running. He didn't know why, it just felt right. And he kept on running until one day he decided to just stop and didn't want to run anymore.
Our W's have to get to that point on their journey.
