Loving detachment for me does not mean going dark/LRT, it means untangling how you feel from her so that you are not as easily affected by her emotions. Think of being handcuffed to each other. Everywhere she goes you are dragged there. Loving detachment is "taking a hacksaw to the handcuffs".
