I am so sorry to hear that. I try like crazy to sound the medical alarm for people who (knowingly or unknowingly) have sex with their wayward spouses, but I come off sounding like a paranoid alarmist.
These risks are REAL, they are STATISTICAL FACT, and they increase arithmetically for every month an affair is not busted up. This is why I'm such a nazi about affairbusting!!!
Again, I'm very sorry -- please take care of yourself. You should consider starting a separate thread with just something like "PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN MLing WITH A WAYWARD SPOUSE" or some such. There's been a half a dozen examples on these forums recently of people getting Hepatitis, HIV and other STDs from their adulterous spouse. Maybe you can help someone else avoid that.
