BH, I do not think I have a ACL tear> I read the def and it is not how my knees feel.
I think I still have "alignment" problems. My knees (plural) do not hurt as much today. Also, my lower back hurt--it also feels better today. I did some gentle stretching and very very light dance today. I think I am going to have to work harder on the physical therapy so I am balanced.
I want to push harder but I think I am going to have to be super-patient.
As far as weights, I understand what you are saying but I have to move very slowly, I am afraid. I think I'll spend some time with the light weights while I try to get the "core" muscles to where they need to be so I can do more on the exercise bike and hopefully more in other ways, too.
Breton, you might not have an ACL tear, I hope you don't! All I am saying is let a DR. check you out to make sure! An exercise bike is the lowest of impact exercises on the knee and you shouldn't be hurting! I think your knee has something other than an allignment issue going on. I understand about going slow Breton, do what you feel comfortable doing and when you feel like doing more, move up!
