Yes I did want to live on that farm with him. Still do. Even though it is long hours of work, I would know where he was. Rather he be scooping manure then at the bar...
Anyway the thing is his parents still have a decent size acreage. I think around 80 acres. So there are other places on the farm where we could build a house. We could STILL have 80% of the dream, building a house on the farm. Living there with our kids. Gradually buying the acres from his mom and dad so he doesn't lose the farm when they die.
BUT is isn't the particular 40 acres he wanted to build on. So I guess it is worthless now....
