Hmmmm..... Things are a bit strange at the moment, W, D7 and I are going to be out for the day looking at cars, doing a little bit of shopping, and grabbing a bite to eat. All good family stuff. We also getting on well, W & I cuddled in bed this morning, (she kicked me to see if I was awake) and there is a promise of some nudge, nudge tonight.
On the flip side W is taking a big interest in the computer, She is IM'ing someone and has discovered facebook she tried to hide the screen from me but had to reveal it in the end cos she didn't know how to set up an account and asked me to help her.
Also W complains that I spend too much time on the computer, so last night I left the computer alone and we had a nice evening in watching a movie. So I may be over reacting but W's sudden excursions into the alternate universe is making me a little uncomfortable. However if I step back and take a calm view of things without the emotions, the feeling I get from W is that unless she has my 1000% attention (yes one thousand percent). She will seek the attention of others. But when I do give her 1000% attention she gets too comfortable and falls asleep. When W falls a sleep I go on the computer. Old patterns of behaviour repeating.
Anyway, I am resolving to try to do more things with W which don't give her the opportunity to fall asleep in my company.
If I go back to the strange feeling, in the past when W was straying she would withdraw from me and wouldn't let me see her naked let alone touch her. But she isn't withdrawing from me now. All a bit strange but I'll try to put doubts behind me and try to get on with things . We'll see what happens.
Weekend turned out good, I got W involved in the car finding process, she chose the car but it was actually the one I really wanted so we both happy there. She wants to go back to the garage to negotiate the price down further, so I feel sorry for the poor sales guy who gets in her way.
We had some good positive discussions about the future Sunday evening, W that says that I am not as pessimistic as I have been in the past so she's happy about that. My pessimism and tightness (lack of) money always used to get her down.
I also did some internal processing about W new found interest in the computer and basically I have to put my paranoia to one side and just get on with things. (A bit of Monday morning nudge, nudge help settle my mind).
So the money should be available soon and I'll have my new car as soon as I recieve that cheque.
nudge nudge wink wink always helps calm us guys down.
BTW... I heard last week that my nephew, who is in the US Air Force at Lakenheath (near Cambridge), now has an English girl friend. Love is in the air!
