Well, I think you did good letting the kids see their grandparents. Family is important. And I like to think when I'm being flexible about parenting arrangements and weekends when stuff comes up for H, that he'll return the favor for me, and so far he has been flexible also. Hopefully your W will be also.
I don't think your W should be able to say anything to you about buying the coat for your D. I do kind of think you have to be aware of not trying to buy your children's affection--my H buys the kids toys, games, every visit. We don't have room for all of it!!! But your $$$ decisions should be yours. I mean, you shouldn't be judging her like that either. She's not your parent, and barely even your W. Or at least doesn't act it. Next time she calls to witch you out, I think you should call her out on it, and then hang up if she won't stop. I'm sorry, but I'm ending this call b/c this isn't directly re: to the kids or something like that. Karen
