Nothing good can come of it.

1) If you show up and beat his ass, you go to jail and it just hurts you in the long run.

2) If you show up and DON'T beat his ass, then he knows he is off the hook (so to speak).

Right now as far as he knows there might be a beating waiting for him around every corner. Let him sweat. \:\)
