{{{Pearl}}} dang it..I dunno why we live so far apart cause I'd LOVE to do that..my son and I were just talking about that tonight! There is a restaurant/bar called Buffalo Wild Wings here that they give you those "playmakers" where you can play trivia while you eat/wait for your food and we were both playing and actually my SON did better than me! LOLOL

I dunno..the tat would be cool..my daughter has been wanting to get a tattoo for a long time since my hub has some..she is seriously going to get one..she's talking about an outline of a dove right now..she's like "what would you do if I wanted one?" and I was like "you are 18 and I have always known you wanted one, so nothing.." LOLOL..

Otherwise, I dunno what else I've always wanted to do, except traveling. I had really forgotten how much I loved to fly and go places until I started to go some places again..LOL..so as my kids get older, esp when son is 18+, I def want to go to some foreign countries, which I've never done, except Japan when my hub was in the military.

Hi Tawyna,

Thanks for checking on me. I was without power for over 24 hours. It got down to 19 degrees last night so I put the dogs in the kennel and stayed with a friend. A truly beautiful snowfall but another slap in the face in that H did not check on me at all.

I hope you made it through alright.

{{{Silver}}} I was WONDERING if you didn't have power my friend!! UGH..I'm glad you had somewhere to stay!! Yes you know my hub didn't check on me either..ridiculous isn't it? I did make it thru fine, we thankfully didn't lose our power, but some around here did, and I just stayed inside from Sunday evening till this afternoon when I went to work Thanks for asking

{{{Kassie}}} LOLOL..I'm sorry..really I just am boring right now I think and I do a lot of talking on the alt universe too so that could be it PLUS..I worked all day Saturday and then today.

Today was busy, worked this morning/afternoon, got home, turned right around and took son to get a haircut, which looks really good. Then, he needed to return a video game, then we went to Buffalo Wild Wings, like I said above, had fun playing the trivia game thingie and then came home

I'm still having no contact, as I said on Da Club, hub was trying to find out where I am going this weekend, but he doesn't need to know and I am not inclined to tell him I'm REALLY looking forward to my trip to see my sweet wonderful friend this weekend, and get to be gone with no real obligations for 4 days (woot! I haven't done that in I dunno how long I'm SUPER excited!!

I have to work all day tomorrow, doing laundry tonight, and then will need to pack on Thursday, have to get up TOO early on Friday to catch my flight

Good for you to go on a trip! I decided in the past couple of days that i will take my boys (twins and my stepson) skiing next winter. The young ones will be 5 by then, so old enough to enjoy it. I haven't skied since I got married, but before that I went every year. I miss it! It's a pretty long term plan compared to yours, but hey it's a plan!

{{Sam}} oh that sounds like SO much fun and a great thing to be planning for I THINK it's fantastic that you have a long term plan..maybe you can do something fun in the interim? I think you should go skiing by yourself while it's still in season this year if you can do it

I agree with you! But I am not so much into skiing by myself... As a matter of fact, I don't really like to much by myself except work on the house. Seems like all my friends that ski are going with their families this year. BUT one of them said today that he would be in for a guys ski trip next year, since he won't be able to afford another family trip for 6! So I might go TWICE next winter!!!

YEAH Sam..that sounds great But..maybe you would find some nice people to hang out with if you go there and people have been encouraging me to go do stuff by MYSELF..so I say..take a day trip, if you can, for a few hours, if you hate it, you can come back..but you may LOVE it?? Who knows??

If not..that's cool too..just my humble suggestion

I have very seriously been considering a tattoo - mostly because it would be so out of character for me (normally I really dislike them on anyone, maybe a tad of an MLC or something. But I figure a week later, I'd look at it, and be like, "Crap, what'd I do this for?"
