It guess it really doesn't bother me that she is travelling this path. She is happy and who am I to deny her that. I am frustrated--as I have been all along--with how she puts her needs ahead of the kids. As my friend said, just be the Dad who puts their needs ahead of yours and as they grow up they will know who was in it for them and who was in it for themself. Still hard when D cries "Daddy I missss youuu" over the phone in tears. W said on Monday, "Oh she is just being a drama queen." That is how hard W has become. So after last night I was a bit mean and just texted XW "Were those real tears or just her being a Drama Queen?"

Hey LE, just catching up.

I do similar slightly sarcastic comments myself sometime, think it's a frustration thing as you think..F me, can't you see the reality ??? I would say my W is similar and is so in it for herself. She is not a bad mum, don't get me wrong, but she doesn't think before she acts or speaks or who she speaks to and how any of this affects the boys. It's all about them. Not a lot we can do, just remember to be there for the kids always as there may come a point that the ex's crash and we need to be there to pick up those kids in a hurry.
