I don't know about Tawnya, but you could not pay me to head out of my house right now! I was looking at the traffic cameras and there are still accidents all over the place. I do not even have my great-nephew today, as my niece opted to take the day off rather than drive on the ice. I need to go to the store, but it is not so pressing that it cannot wait another day.
Enjoy your snow. Aren't you guys looking at the potential of a foot or so? I liked it so much when we lived in Michigan. It is one of the good memories I have from that time period.

We have 9" now with a lot of wind, lots of snow blowing around. It just looks soooo cold out there. The temp's are supposed to drop into single digits. Tomorrow is my late day so I will be traveling after rush hour warms up the roads.
Kassie..yeah it's COLD here too..I didn't venture out today, but the roads cleared and almost all of the snow melted today, but in the morning will be tricky with the ice/black ice on the road!

Well, Tawnya, I am caught up. It was interesting reading about the ring - it truly is something that is a very personal choice. It can mean alot whichever way it goes.
I took mine off a few months ago. My reasoning is this: W gave it to me a symbol of her love and commitment to me. It isn't my symbol to HER - HER ring is that! If she wants me to wear it, she can put it back on me herself.
She has broken that love and commitment, so the ring means nothing.
How are you tonight Miss Snowday? I am so glad you got to stay home. The partners in my firm obviously know I am from Chicago, so they always expect I'll make it in to the office and I do, but, man, it would be LOTS EASIER if the people who do not know what they are doing would just stick to liberating all the milk and bread from the stores as if we are under siege and leave the rest of the roads free and clear.
Ok, first of all, how lame is your H?? He gets a big fat WHATEVER to that lowball offer. Sounds like you have the right attitude though. Stand up for yourself and S12 but let the lawyers duke it out. Grr. It does make me wonder how contentious my negotiations are going to get. Good thing I have a lot of wine in the house!
Second, I think you're doing the right thing for yourself taking the ring off. If that's what you feel then do it.
I know I'm biased here...I am so glad to hear your revelations about your M and what you want out of a R. Not because I want you to move on as I have decided to do, but because you have realized that you deserve better. Never say never as your H may wake up some day and realize what a huge mistake he has made. And at that point you will have to decide if he can provide you with the things you want and deserve out of life.
I think you have turned the corner that Silva and I turned and it is really good over here! I don't mean to speak for him, but I think he would agree that we have realized that life is short and we should not settle for anything that will make us less than truly happy. So welcome! Perhaps we should hit BK and Mickey D's to celebrate!
