Since you mentioned a drive thru, what's your fav fast food? I figured we might match since we seem to have other things in common. I love KFC but don't have it often. Love BK Whoppers (usually Jr.) but McDonald's fries. Now that I'm starting to put weight back on I have to avoid all of them.

And NO ONE is better than Jean Luc Picard!!

{{{Pearl}}} eh..I don't classify myself as hot stuff..LOL..BUT thank you Except the fact that they are young enough to be my CHILDREN..LOL..that would be one problem..Since you asked, my FAV fast food is definitely BK..love the whopper jr (ok so we would have a lot of fun together it seems LOL)..I also love Long John's Silver fish, I don't like fish anywhere else but there, with lots of breading and malt vinegar that my family thinks is disgusting, but I love it LOL! I think I would fit in in England on that one! Pearl..if I'm REALLY in the mood to, I go thru McD's and get fries and then BK and get a whopper jr, so I totally agree, tho BK's fries are better lately

Well..had a good day at work today, only a half day, which is NICE because I have to work all day tomorrow and Saturday (bleh). Going out to eat with my stepsister who is in town from NY this evening, so that should be nice. Son is still at his dad's and daughter has to work all night. AND it's beautiful here today, has to be in the 60's easily

Doesn't it make you feel GREAT when you notice people checking you out?! I have noticed that about myself too and it works WONDERS for my PMA. It just shows you that you can still capture the interest of the opposite sex, and find someone else if things don't work out in the end.

You shouldn't have any problems in the PMA dept. after this! Maybe try a game store with some employees your age! And if you can't find that, then your son will just have to change his hobby to something else! LOL!

It IS nice and weird for me, as far as thinking anyone is checking me out..cause I'm (not fishing just being honest with MY feelings here LOL) okay but there are some KNOCKOUTS and I am more of the kind sorta cute girl next door type LOL..tho it is nice to think, even just for a second, that some other MALE finds me interesting, fascinating, and even cute or pretty

Had a nice night catching up with my stepsister. She's in her early 50's and she and her family mainly doing missionary work in Zimbabwe, and are just home in the states for a few months to restock and get support, so it's so neat to hear how things go for them and good to catch up. She was sweet about my sitch, checked in to make sure I was really doing well, and after I told her just some of the stuff that had happened, she was like "wow, you didn't deserve that" LOL..and I told her how many wonderful people I had met on this site and how I was so surprised at how many people are going thru the same things all around the world..

My day was really nice hanging out with my stepsister, like I said above. Then had to try to go to bed early with my having to do my long day today..I always do not look forward to those LOL, cause I'm a girl who likes my sleeping in, so today and tomorrow I don't get to do that

I DO have to say it was a little weird talking about my hub to my stepsister, kinda having to rehash some of the stuff that had happened since I haven't had to do that in a while since people that are around me all of the time already know all that..so that was the only "weird" part of my nice evening of catch up So, V..I took a page out of your "book" and before I went to bed I kinda sorted out why it felt weird to talk about it and then went back over some of the events that got me to this point in how I feel about hub at this point in my journey

And again I get back to the realization that I had a man who for many years wasn't happy, off and on he was happy, but more times than not, he wasn't..so I wasn't 100% happy either. We fought constantly, he told me at least 4 times in our marriage that he wanted out, told me there were at least 3-4 times he thought about but didn't act upon (?) other women and who wants that back?? Not me..I want someone that those thoughts don't even go thru their mind or, if they do, we'd talk about them THEN and not just walk away from them or sweep them under the rug..that solves nothing, obviously

So..I need to confess something to you all on the board that I did last week, but have kept to myself. I took my ring off last week as a trial to see how I felt about it, and haven't put it back on and I don't plan to. I know some of you may agree or disagree and you are totally within your rights to do so. But, for me, looking back over the last 21 years, as much as I thought I wanted to hold onto this marriage, I don't want that and I don't know that hub or I could change enough, or should HAVE to change enough, to be the type of marriage that I WANT..I want a man who occasionally (or more than occasionally) wants to be romantic with me..I want a man who will talk to me and not sweep stuff under the rug..I WANT to be a woman who can be romantic too..I want to be a woman who can be a "piler" of stuff if she wants and won't get told it should be neater or not make dinner if I don't want to after I've worked all day without being told I should be better with money..stuff like that

On my way to "loving myself" as Sam and Silva have put it so beautifully, I've decided that, in order to LOVE myself, I am ALLOWED to want all of those things and MORE..to want the "fairy tale" within reasonable expectations..and that is totally okay
