{{{Kassie}}} aww thanks for checking in on me..just been musing the past few days about a "me issue"..I am on my way to getting it resolved..it was probably all of those things, good/uncomfortable/curious and about 100 other emotions too..LOL..sounds very mysterious I know..but, suffice it to say, I'm coming OUT of it now (like Cher in Moonstruck "snap outta it") and I am looking forward to my weekend with my friend in Florida next weekend and hopefully she won't have to hear me griping about myself too much LOL (tho she will totally be fine if I do!)
Anyway..2 funny stories to tell. First story was last night and I forgot to tell it, I think because I was so freaked about not finding my keys!! Anyway, we went to the game store to get my son a video game and I had to show my driver's license to the guy at the counter. So he goes "that's a pretty nice picture" to me..LOL..I was like "why thank you"..funny how it seems that those young kids at the video game store always want to talk to me, and my daughter says almost flirt with me (they are YOUNG LOLOL)!
There was one guy who worked in the store all the time and we would go in there all the time for my son and we would all 3 always talk. So one day I go in there and he says, "I saw you at the movies the other night and tried to say hi or get your attention but you didn't see me"..I about fell out..ok this kid is like early 20's easily..LOL..but..ha
OK..so second story: My hub comes to pick up my son tonight. He walks into the kitchen, hands me my garage door openers, and while we are talking, proceeds to go over to the kitchen window and fix my curtains, which were open. I was like "um, what if I wanted them that way" and laughed and he went back over to them and fixed them back the way they were..LOLOL..that was just funny to me..
Boring night otherwise, but what I needed. Daughter was headed out with friends, son is with his dad, so I was solo. I ran thru a drive thru, headed to Barnes and Noble and grabbed some books/mags to read. I had picked up one fluff magazine and 2 heavier books, but ended up just reading the fluff and skipped the books..which was nice, I had an hour of just not thinking about ANYTHING except Star Trek Voyager LOL..which is what the mag was about..and I LOVED that show, almost as much as Captain Jean Luc Picard from The Next Generation
So..that is my last few days in a nutshell!
The neatest thing that happened today: Took a quiz on the alt universe today that was "what superhero are you" and mine came out Wonder Woman and I was like HECK YEAH..I loved that!
