Stillloveshim , I composed a letter and mailed it yesterday . I took 100% of blame for the breakdown of the marriage . Validated the fact that the marriage is over . Apologized for my part in the demise . I did not bring up the affair , the forgery , the dishonesty or anything she could view as blame or make her feel ashamed . Lets see what happens . I still feel she has checked out and this is all for not but since the divorce is going through anyway what do I have to lose .
Went to a parenting class last night that the state of NJ requires both parents in a divorce to attend ( if children are involved ) . There was 51 people in attendance . The institution of marriage is becoming a joke with people just checking out .
Good for you!! How did you feel after you wrote and sent the letter? Don't get down on marriage. It's just a rough spot. I think humans are supposed to be with a partner. That's how we are made. Your other thread locked up so I'm glad I found this one. All else aside, how are you?
