I don't know how to make H feel I am not going to be here for him, when he already feels that way. He feels that I am going to leave him and that there is already someone else I want to be with. Even though it isn't true, those are his feelings. Would that be validating his feelings that he thinks I have cheated?
He is using you as an excuse for his own actions....common MLC behavior. He is transferring his own feelings onto you.
He said that he missed your voice. Let him miss hearing it. He will need to miss hearing it enough to want to come home. I don't think you need to make him think you won't be there for him. I think you need to NOT be there for him. Let him do his own thinking.
I don't think he truly believes that you have someone else that you want to be with. I think he wants to believe that, because then he doesn't have to feel so guilty about his own behavior.
I think in his heart he knows that you are always going to be the responsible and loving wife. He knows your nature.

Anyway, I know that it is easier to see from the "outside" than when you are in the middle of your own situation. Forgive me if I made you feel bad.
