{{{Kassie}}} Sorry I missed last night..I have to get my bat signal back out for you LOL!! I settled in bed and watched Heroes (my favorite) and then went to sleep early for a change. I am headed to your thread in just a sec!!

{{{Silva}}} Thanks for asking..things are good..nothing new to report is all..LOL!! Worked all day yesterday, my long 7am to 7 pm day, ate dinner, and watched Heroes and went to bed!

I have plans to meet up with a friend of mine for some coffee (well tea for me LOL) this afternoon so that should be fun and hopefully get to see my niece who is traveling thru from NY at some point today..

I am headed to the "it's great to be me" place..I CAN say for 100% certainty that I really like the ME I am becoming and the me I am now is much better off

I haven't posted in a while, but i have been reading along. You sound soooo good!

I know that our messes are exactly that--a mess-- but you are really rising above yours and I am proud of all you have accomplished for yourself in the past couple of months. It was time and now you see how much better YOU are because of it. Keep moving forward and only look back to see your progress, not to beat yourself up over what might be lost. Your H still might surprise you in all of this.

Well I had a really fun afternoon with my friend. Turns out she has had a similar epiphany to "losing herself" which she was married. Though her husband died, she and I really talked about how much we both changed for our spouses and how we are really enjoying rediscovering ourselves and being happy. We had a lot of fun and talked for like 2 1/2 hours.

Then I got to see my niece who is visiting from NY for a little while and she and my daughter went out to eat and hang out. My son and I went to eat somewhere else, cause he didn't want what the girls did and he'll be gone the next few days with his dad, so I figured I'd do what he wanted. So off to the mall for his favorite chinese fast food and then to the game store for a new video game..

Tomorrow I"m gonna meet that same friend at Curves, a work out place, that she goes to and see if I like it. She can do a "bring a friend" for a week free..so it should be fun to go with her regardless and I would like to lose those last 20 pounds!

The only crummy part of the night is that when I got home, I could not find my house keys. They were not in my pocketbook and I have NO idea where they are actually..LOL! Anyway, tried the back door to see if it was unlocked and tried to jimmy some windows, but no luck. My daughter, as stated, was out..so I had to call her and have her meet us. I even had to call my hub, sorry to Da Club, to see if he was nearby cause he still has my garage door openers..he didn't, it was a short and civil convo..but didn't help me LOL!

Anyway..argh..still can't find my keys..now the hunt begins, cause I have work keys and stuff on there too (grr)!

Otherwise, it was a nice day off for sure! Hope you are all having a good one too!

Grrr, sorry about the keys Tawnya! Let us know when/where you find them. I'm not a practicing Catholic but 16 years of Catholic school ought to be good for something so I'll ask St. Anthony to help you out.

And calling H in this circumstance is totally acceptable. Kind of good he doesn't have the garage door opener but a bummer tonight.

Well actually as I went to bed I was lying there trying to retrace my steps on Monday, cause I knew I had them then. So, I remembered I had this heavy coat on, because it was cold, so I hopped up, felt in the coat pockets, and voila..there they were (woot!)..I was SOO glad LOL

Anyway..today is another calm and quiet day. I may go into work for a few hours, not 100% sure yet. I have to work for the next 3 days, half day tomorrow 1:30-7, all day Friday 7-7, and then Saturday all day 7-5.
