I like this post, it is so true in every way. I dont know if I can ever get her respect back, but I think once I get my respect back for myself, I might have a chance.
Do it for you...Don't be concerned if you ever get it back from her. You have to drop that part of it. That's the only way you may get it back from her - but that doesn't and shouldn't matter. If you mix her stuff in there, you're just trying to manipulate something that can't be controlled and it will interfere in your ability to get your respect back for yourself.
Part of that respect you are looking for is doing it for YOU and NOBODY ELSE. Then you will respect yourself.
