I appreciate the support so much - more than you all know!

I just had to get on real fast (almost 2am) and post what a great weekend it has been!

Last night, my brother, SIL, and their two kids, my other niece, and my dad came up to join my mom. We had pizza, watched a movie, sat around and chatted.

I was awakened after sleeping in by bacon cooking, and we had eggs, bacon, english muffins (in honor of Silva), toast, coffee, and orange juice.

Then we drove up to the home town I grew up in, and did some reminiscing - then took the kids skating at the roller rink I grew up skating at.

Then, we came home and they sort of surprised me with a makeover. We fixed my disposal, hooked up my water feed to my fridge, some maintenance that I just hadn't had time for.

I had been wanting to do some more stuff to my kitchen (some of you might have read about my new ceramic tile floor). Well, we painted the WHOLE kitchen, recaulked everything, and my Mom and SIL bought me some "house-warming" gifts. They even painted all the doors and trim, my dad brought me a dryer (mine is junk), and they put down some of the quarter-round I needed to cover the gaps in front of my cupboards.

So now, it's 2am, and we're all pooped - but we have a big lunch planned tomorrow, then they are leaving, and then me and the kids will kick back tomorrow night and just chill.

I found a way to do a public Facebook picture album, so I'll post some pictures!

Also, a weird thing with W - she was with her patient and I was picking up hardware.

She randomly texted me that she was at an antique store, and had found some World War II document that had someone with the same last name as me. I was with my Dad, and he has looked up our family tree going back to England, and loves all that. So I asked her to send a picture, and she sent it, and then told me it was $179 - and said, "It's expensive, because it's history. LOL"

Just funny that she is thinking of me - I have no idea what her feelings are, or where her mind is, or any of that - it was just funny.

My family is all leaving today (Sunday) so we'll see how next week goes! \:\) Man, I just can't put into words. Kitchen looks great - my family is great - it's awesome!
