4 years ago today my stbx walked out the door. I am a little saddened but I look at how far I have come since then. I am better off without him.
I have been trying to get in touch with my lawyer for a week now. The papers were filed almost 2 months ago but so far nothing from the courts. I am tired of waiting. My luck they have lost the papers or something. I just want it over and done with.
Picked up the newspaper this morning and find out that the place my stbx works may close down due to massive statewide layoffs. So much for working for the state. This would really cause a big problem as I need the child support he gives me to make my house payment. So, if he loses his job...I could lose my house.
