It's great that your parents are there and being supportive. My mom's version of support is to tell me how much harder she had it when she divorced my biological father. She lost more weight, she had a toddler to take care of, etc. She didn't like how I was handling the sitch so I decided I couldn't handle that drama on top of this one and haven't talked to her in about six weeks. One crisis at a time! And actually, I think not dealing with her and the rest of my family has really lifted a weight and let me find out how strong a person I can be on my own.
