I just wanted to update you all on my sit. Things are going really well between us. My W has demonstrated such humility and sincere sorrow for what's happened over the past few months. I am so happy to have her back! I hope you are all encouraged to continue praying for your spouses and keep the faith. God does want to restore your relationships. It is his will and he will reward your patience and perserverence. Remember, if you and God want the marriage to work than that's 2 against one, so the odds are in your favor (to quote Stormie Omartian). Keep praying, keep showing love without being lovey, and let go and let God. All very hard things to do while you are in the midst of things, believe me I know, but it was not until that one moment that I truly let go that God worked.
God bless all of you! You are all wonderful people.
Hiya WP, I've been meaning to circle back with you, but I've been slammed at work and home!
This was SUCH good news to get from you!!!! And I'm sure your wife is sincere. This WILL be hard for her though, and I don't mean to scare you but the recidivism rates for infidelity are fairly high. Did you discuss or agree upon any sort of no-contact/transparency plan to help her thru her withdrawal from this other guy?
"God is able to do all things for those who love Him, and who are the called according to His purpose."
Awesome! Thanks for coming back and sharing GOOD news! It's those of us who are still struggling.... Thank you for the slant and deference to God. He is the healing force.

wow that is wonderful news! although I am not familiar with your sitch I just wanted to come in and mention that I am so happy for you! Isn't GOD wonderful. He is the only reason I am able to move forward and have hope. congrats on your patience and all of your hard work.
WP, I'm so glad things are going well for you! Thanks so much for posting and sharing your good news!!! I always appreciate everyone's updates!
I don't know. I used to pray for God to restore my M, like ordering him around about it. Telling him what to do. Now I pray for my H every day, for him to become healthy and happy, and for God to work in his life. I pray for God's will to be done in my M whatever that may be. I think He knows better what is best for us, so I think things will work out ok for us no matter what. Karen
Congratulations, and thanks for sharing your good news! Anyone going through this would benefit from the author you quoted. I've mentioned it before, but the Power of the Praying Wife, and the Power of the Praying Husband books are really helpful. I wish I had gotten them sooner.
Hi WP, I am so glad things have taken this path for you and hope you'll continue posting to let us know how things continue to progress along. Hugs to you.
I am so sorry that I have been MIA for so long. I had to have an emergency surgery a few weeks ago, so I have been recovering. That, plus I have been spending a great deal of time w/my W (who has been helping me recover!!). Anyhow, I just want to say that I am doing better and I will be checking in more regularly again. You are all such a great group of people, I don't want to leave b/c my sit has gotten better. Things are going very well w/my W and I. She has been so humble and remorseful. We've been home together for the past 2 weeks and it has been very nice. The biggest change I've seen in her is her commitment to pursue God by praying and reading His word on a daily basis. This is such a beautiful thing! She was always a believer, but her relationship w/Him was hurting. She has ended all contact with those in the world that were causing her stumble. I'm backing to being one of her top priorities (God being first), and it feels so nice. Love truly covers over a multitude of sins.
