Have you seen DW this week? where did she stay during her post surgery?
She left my apt late Sun. AM after we had spent a fairly nice and fairly calm (180's of sorts for sure) week together last week. Aparently she thought it best to do her recuperating immediately following the surgery over at her makeshift home @ ex's.
I did make sure to head to the surgery center as a bit of a surprise to her. I head set my alarm clock on Mon AM for 0515 w/ the plan to head there and see her both before and after surgery. But do to alarm clock troubles and other crap by the time I made it there she had already been taken into the OR. But I greeted her with a kiss in recovery (which she might not even recall since she was still in the grips of the anasthesia).
On Sunday, Once I learned of her intention to spend at least her first week of recovery at the ex's I informed her that because I had pretty much lost all respect which I formerly had for him that I would not be coming by there for visits.
So I talked to her on Tuesday and again today. She is sounding like she is doing ok and is progressing ..still a lot of pain though which she is on percocet and maybe other heavy hitters to handle. She is regularly aprehensive about taking pain killers (which is good) but atleast for now she needs them pretty bad.
Most of what she is dealing with in her recovery I am involuntarily out of the loop on.
