Hello! I've been following along your sitch and I just wanted to stop by and give ya a hug! You are an awesome strong woman and you will be fine!

Sometimes I think these H's of ours expect us to roll over curl up in a ball and die without them. NOT!

Soon after my H left, I was stuck in our home and couldn't get out for over 2 weeks because of terrible snow. Not once did he call me and ask if I needed anything.

At that point I realized that the man I married was no longer there, and this new guy was someone I didn't know. I have managed just fine for just over 2 months and I know now I really DON'T need him anymore. I miss my H and I love my H, I just don't need him.

Way to go!! I think you did great. Sometimes we just have to say what we mean.

I think you hit the nail on the head. At first it's all about needing our H, but after we realise that we can do it on our own, it hits home that we may not need him but we do love him. I think they need to know that.

I think it's also great that you talked to him about respecting you. That is a key point. This whole business is so disrespectful.

I'm just catching up with you from yesterday & today.

First of all: I love Heroes too! But don't tell me what happened, I'm behind a couple episodes and due to this stupid cold I'm not up for watching yet, takes too much concentration.

Second: good for you for calling H on being disrespectful! I know I felt much better when I did the same with xBF. Also good is telling H you don't need him. I think it did have some impact on him whether or not he said anything. xBF was dumbstruck when I said the same thing to him.

So let's show these men we will have good lives without them. We need to plan a trip to England to visit Silva and "accidentally" run into Patrick Stewart!

The scenery around where he lives is good enough to drink too, so every day will be good even if it takes BOTH weeks

My friend who came from England told me that her hub actually got to meet Patrick Stewart briefly..he was on a flight from London to somewhere on the same flight as Patrick and then ended up at the same hotel, so on the elevator her hub talked to him for a few minutes..I'm like WHAT..how cool is that?

I am doing just fine, thanks. I am seeing an apartment tomorrow and I am really excited about it. It's downtown - where we could never live b/c Z needed a "buffer" between the office and home. I love, love, love urban living. I AM A CITY GIRL!!!!

This place is new construction and they're having difficulty selling with this economy, so they are renting way cool condos.

(In case you missed it on my thread H, or SBXH is now known as Z, as in zed, the end - H no longer feels accurate ans SBXH is too long.)
