I did do a little anti-dbing the other night. I called her on her attitude. She started getting pissy and I told her Ya know three months ago you were crying and telling me you don't know why you treat me so awful. I told her she needed to find the answer to that.
She started to cry little. Then after a couple of minutes later acted as happy as can be and was joking around with me.
Now she a button pushing control freak again.....normal for where she's at I guess.

I used to make my stbx mad just so he would open up and talk to me. I would get off the phone in tears but at least I knew where he stood...or so I thought. The next day he would act like we never had the conversation. WTH???

If demonstrating self respect is anti-DBing someone has been taught wrong.
I am an advocate for men not taking the sh*t we women dish out, MLC or not.
If you handle things right, and respectfully, you'll get a hell of a lot farther than if you were to flip out too.

Yes you will. I have said that many times and look where I am. I still get the crappy boots wiped on me. Hard to stand up and walk away from all of it. Easier to walk on eggshells and take it.

You take the better approach and own up to what you are saying. Don't back down like I did. It gets you no where.
I took the spewing because I thought if I was the good little wife and took it then he would come home thinking he had the upper hand. Phht...didn't work.
