Not having seen or heard from my H at all in almost 2 months, and noting that he has not given me a gift in over a year, I didn't bother even considering getting anything for him. Last year he said he "didn't think it was appropriate" for us to celebrate V-day together, and instead he sent OW flowers and spent the weekend with her. So...it's not exactly my favorite holiday right now, and I'm just waiting for it to be over and to see green replace red and white in the stores.
I sorta feel like I'm back in grade school, thinking "nobody loves me--or even likes me--enough to give me a Valentine's card." Hmmm, there's an idea...cupcakes and iced sugar cookies! I think I'm going to do some baking now...!
