H gets D7 tomorrow for the weekend. He is already inquiring about my plans for the weekend. As you know, I have dated. What should I say to him tomorrow at dropoff when he starts asking?
Not quite sure what is going on with him right now in his mind and maybe it is nothing, but, the last 2 days he has seemed a bit down.
I did ask him if he was ok. He said he felt like he was in a "funk". Well I have been sick with a cold the last 3 days so I asked him if he thought he was getting the cold.
He said "not that kind of funk". I have noticed that he and OW haven't talked AS much the last couple days. I think maybe she has just been busy with work but I don't know. He hasn't talked much about her lately and I have quit asking. She is still calling...just not as frequent for the last 2 days.
One thing that tugged on my heart strings though was this....he kept D7 overnight last night and took her to school this morning. Well he packed her lunch for her (usually she eats school lunch but wanted him to pack her a lunch) and he put a little note in the bottom of her bag that read "D7 have a great day at school and remember daddy loves you bunches." He put a smiley face on it and she carried it around all afternoon in her pocket.
