Dearest Lisa,

I'm so glad to "see" you! I missed you!! Wow... a lost picasso? that is CRAZY!! I am so glad to hear about this festive and glamorous event. You sound strong. I'm glad to hear you might still be working with CEO. I totally support your decision to file. Keep us posted on your adventures...
love,
T

Hi Lisa,

Just wanted to stop in quickly and say hi. Your life certainly never has a dull moment!

Glad you have made a decision that you feel comfortable with. Out of curiosity, what will you do if this causes your H to have a change of heart?

Hope all is well in snowy England,

ITH

((((all))))

So nice to see you all, and I'm glad the Picasso story was amusing. If I ever get another such outlandish story to tell I'll definitely post it.

naej- my CEO does know about the impending D. That may, or may not be an issue for him, but me working for him definitely is (I overheard him telling someone that last week). At the moment I'll be redundant as of March 1st, so we'll see what happens then. I'm 'no expectations' ;\)

ITH- interesting question. My feeling at the moment is that if H decides he wants to come back it's too late. However, never say never, I suppose. It would depend on the situation at the time. I'm not holding out any hope though- I don't think it's going to happen any time soon (or not soon!).

Everyone else- I hope you're all having a good evening/day.

Lisa!!! thank so much for your thoughts on my thread. I just had an idea. What if you and CEO get married and THEN start a company together? Then you working for him would not be an issue, right??? right?????? do you see how my plan solves everything?

I am just kidding... sort of...!

Does this mean he sees you working for him as a problem OR he sees you not working for him as a problem?

((((naej)))) ((((Jeff)))) (((Lovely)))

Lovely- your message made me LOL! So funny!! CEO is being courted by a listed company to be their CEO so might not go for the new company idea, which is a shame. He is trying to find me a position though- we'll see on Tuesday what happens with that, but I'd work essentially by myself apart from 1 day a month with him.

naej- my fault for not being clear. I do love that word though....numpty. So funny!

He sees me working for him as a problem. The exact conversation went like this....

CEO (to third party): What do you think of Lisa? She's sexy isn't she?
Third Party (TP): Yes.... [then something I couldn't hear]
CEO: [something I didn't hear] and then.... I can't date someone who works for me.

Handsome- take your time- I'll be waiting \:\) . I can't see anything particularly moving forward on the dating front for now, but maybe that's because I'm so well-versed in no expectations that it's infected every part of my life. I think (hope) that when the time is right things will start to happen.

So, I feel like I should try and keep my thread focussed to H information, but I don't have to report particularly. Yesterday and today were pretty busy at work, although (maybe because) it's just me, Cockney guy and CEO at the moment. Today CEO and I spent most of the day working on an investment proposal, talking about a new place he's thinking of buying, and having lunch. I can't explain but something about the quality of our conversation seems to be shifting. Again, I think the end of the month might shed light on whether I'm imagining that.

This weekend I'm volunteering and then visiting some friends on Sunday.

We're not purists, we just want all the juicy goss on you and Ceo and a host of city gents with walk on parts.
H whoo???
I did understand the clarification, thank you but please do listen more carefully next time.
I have a fridge magnet that says
"I never repeat gossip so listen carefully"
My heart hurts to hear you say that no expectations has infected all parts of your life. I understand why but it makes me sad anyway.
One day sooooooon I hope you will as "they" say love like you have never been hurt, dance like no one is watching and work like you don't need the money.
Enjoy your week end and don't forget your vest.
