Just got a call from stbx. Seems he found out I was having a little family get together for our daughters 18th bday. He was very upset that he, his new woman and his family was not invited.
I very calmly told him I would call him back later as I was at work and didn't have time to talk.
Now...WTF IS HE THINKING???? I told you all he wanted to be friends. I can't do that. I don't want to do that. If he wants to do something for our daughter then fine by me but he can do it at his place and without me.
I already discussed this with daughter before I made the plans and she agrees. He needs to learn he walked away and now he has to deal with it.
The problem is his mother is divorced 3 times. She was so close with her 2nd husband that they shared a house. She lived in the upstairs apartment and he lived in the downstairs apartment with his new wife. Only thing separating them was a 2 sided lock on the basement door. They did everything together. I think he wants that too since he saw it worked.
