Thanks, Mattie, Donna and cat (welcome back to my thread!)

The best thing I can do is ignore her. I have not heard about mediation from ehr in a few days. I expect her attorney to re-activate the motions he filed a couple of weeks ago. Ugh! I'm ready to just go to my attorney and ask him to pull the trigger and get this over with.

Keep moving forward.

Glad you are there for your kids.

Definitely cut how much she is getting and get a bigger place so your kids have more room!

STBX seems to unravel more and more each day. she will no longer let D16 use the Jeep that her smarmyboss gave her to come to my apartment. She sent me an email saying the Jeep was not to be used to transport me around as well (get over yourself!)

D16 was supposed to spend Saturday night wiht me, but asked me to come and get her at the gym at around 2PM. When I took her by my old house to get her clothes, STBX teed off on her for "being disrespectful" by going with me in the afternoon, as she had planned actvities with D16, but never told her.

D16 told me her eating disorder is more under control when she's with me, because STBX stresses her out beyond belief by being such a control freak. She stays with me more often than at home now.

The big house is getting empty.

Are you looking for a bigger place?

Hey Gyps.

Not yet. I did get a message from her that she would like our attorneys to try and resolve the "financial issues" so that we don't have to go to litigation. I agreed, but I will not be taken to the cleaners on this one.

I know what's good for the kids, but if my lifestyle is going to be dramatically altered, so should hers be. I think she justs wants ehr lifestyle to continue as is. "Gym Woman" got stuck with the house and huge mortgage. She had to sell it and move to another town. Her lifestyle was dramaitically impacted, even though her XH made 7 FIGURES!

Heh.

At this rate maybe you should trade STBXW the house for your apt!

What happened to the mediator?

Time has made a big difference for you, hasn't it? When you were in Iraq you would have given everything away (was it $15 a month you spent for yourself???) I hope your wife gets very little money other than the child support! She is capable of supporting herself so hope you won't be burdened with alimony for long! I still think the person that initiated the divorce should take the financial burden upon themselves. I know that is not real life, but sure would be more fair!!!!!

If smarmylawyerboss can put up $ for a jeep and remodel, he can help her with her bills. She is a big girl and makes a very decent wage.

How's the house hunting going? This is the time - buy low sell high...

Hey Donna and Mattie,

What happened to the mediator is that once she gave us the figures that she thought were reasonable, it effectively cut STBXs payments by $1400/month, so of course she wouldn't agree. I will contact my attorney when I fell like it, and see if he can work with her lawyer to reach a settlement. I'm not inclined to let her off easy. I've had it!

Yes, I've come a long way from Iraq, not just the 7000 mile distance either.
