Thanks everyone! Dr. said she was indeed backed up/plugged up, if it were some 'bug' she would have most likely had diarrhea with it. Said if she is plugged up it makes her digestive juices back up into her stomach which is why she was vomiting bile last night...also why her belly was so big, everything was backing up and also probably gas in there...

Told me to have her eat a lot of fruit/fiber. Well I took her to the supermarket salad bar and got tons of fresh fruit in all shapes/sizes. Even got the creamy dip for the fruit. She ate three mandarin orange pieces and one slice of a strawberry and announced she was done... At least she drank the o.j.

Dr. also recommended glycerin suppositories so I bought some but D fell asleep on the way from the grocery store so I haven't tried it out yet.

I once tried drinking prune juice because it seemed like it might taste good. It did indeed taste great, but I will never drink it again thank you.

Out here on the Pacific coast we got a wild shrub tree called Cascara. The bark from it is a very powerful natural laxative. The Chinook indian jargon for it is "chitticum bark".

Having a sick kid is so...draining. Especially when you dont really know what's going on.

I am glad your angel (she is really an angel) has nothing serious.

Well thanks to the suppository she had one smallish poop. Still not eating but I am continuing to try...

H just called, wanted to know if instead of him having the kids at my house tonight, would I want to go to a movie with him and the kids? I told him Nathan was planning on a movie night at home so he needed to ask Nathan. (For the record I was going to pass on going with them anyway)

Nathan said he wanted to watch the movie at home tonight. So H is coming here and I am going out (he doesn't know that yet though). Think I will browse new bedroom sets and flat screen tvs for my half of our tax return... ;\) So glad I don't have a tractor to pay off!

Anyway tomorrow is 'my' day but I already told H he could have some time with the kids in the afternoon since he didn't close on the house this weekend. He is going to take them to the movie tomorrow afternoon and I will be cleaning out the garage...good times.

I still don't know what is up with the house. He said that he was going to close today, then he said that the realtor told him the appraisal came in too late to close today. He said that like 5 days ago....he came to Sydney's dr appt today and said that he STILL hadn't heard when he was closing....grr! He has to have his house before he can have the kids for overnights...

So originally I had the kids for the whole weekend except a couple hours on Saturday when H wanted to come over. Then H asked me if he could have the kids on Friday night since he didn't close on his house and had more time....I said sounds good I was thinking of going out Friday anyway.

Well then H called to see if I wanted to go to a movie with him and the kids. Nathan told him he'd rather stay home and watch a movie...

So then H calls me at 5:30 asking me which movie (he was at the video store). H calls again at 6:30 to say he is on the way home now...

I had in the meantime gotten dressed up cute and curled my hair, did my makeup, etc... I asked what was taking so long, he said he had let a guy go and the boss wanted him to come back to the office to talk about it? Then he starts sharing with me all about what it is like to fire someone, how it isn't fun to be the boss, etc etc

I validated but then I said "I haven't made anything for the kids for dinner I thought you were doing that, I am ready to go out..."

He acted all flustered, said he didn't know he was supposed to get dinner, he thought I was going to stay there with them tonight. I said no I had plans but I would start dinner since I couldn't leave until he got there anyway.

So he got there at 7, I told him some girls from work were going to dinner and then to a martini bar at the casino. He said, "Oh, ok" And then a minute later, "Who all is going?" He doesn't even know anyone from my work! So I listed off the younger (25-30) girls at work who were going.

He just seemed sort of surprised by the whole thing.

I went and I put in $10 at the casino and left with $50 so my two martinis and creme brulee were free!

all I can say is that is fantastic how you did your own thing in spite of his attempts to tug at you. Can you go share some of that wisdom with my "buddy" MT over in NC. She is struggling mightily w/ breaking free and detaching at all. I think she is just plain scared. and that worsens things.

Well as fantastic as you did, I hope your w/e continues to be the same way. Be Holy!

Yes T it was a slot machine. Only one machine, I played exactly 20 minutes (I am not a big gambler). I hit $40 twice in 20 minutes but I wanted to play for a bit so I played until I was back to $50 then cashed out, went to the top-floor bar with a view of the city and had a martini and creme brulee with part of my winnings.

Also forgot to mention I went to Victorias Secret on the way up and bought some new cute undies. Left the bag on the kitchen table when I came in, coincidentally H's coat was on a chair at the table so he had to go by there before he left. ;\)
