Things are steady on my end ..had a chance to spend some time w/ my darling yesterday. Both of us are showing our age as we seem to be falling apart physically. She is still trying to heal from last weeks pair of surgeries and she had it confirmed that she will be going for yet another surgery in a week or two which will have her out of work for maybe 4 months. About a month ago she tore her rotator cuff. She is a trooper and has been dealing with a ton of pain.
Then there is me. I have fallen on the ice i think 4 times in the last month or so. Fortunately only one of those was a "real fall" ..though todays came pretty close to that. I need to deperately get a new pair of work shoes as the soles of my old ones are very slick and don't stand a chance on even wet surfaces let alone icy ones. Guess I will have to forgo my next beer purchase in favor of shoes.
why is she having to have all these surgeries?? were they planned, or are they not working?

Welllll.....she is a medical ...nightmare .. ever since birth. She gives any Dr a run for there $$$. She is like her own teaching medical college. She was not blessed with anything close to good health from the beginning of her life.
They were planned and it seems as though everything went well with them. The next one will be to repair her torn rotator cuff. Guess she still thought she was a teenager when she was working out a month or so ago. Unfortunately she found out the hard way that she isn't. Very Painful. And she is rather pissed she won't be able to work for perhaps as long as another 4 months. She was already out for most of January.
Gettin ready to make my commute home with Ruey in tow and will be gettin together with my darling for some more special times. It is all special!!
