If I do decide to go that route, it has to be when S14 is older. It's just too much right now. I just keep at it for job security. With college and the VP position on the local board, it helps.
I've been thinking about it though. Even talked to someone about my CPA. I know someone with a business. So if I decide on a 2nd career after I hit full pension, it might be an option. Not sure.
I also have some thoughts about relocating later after the kids are on their way. I guess it depends on how far. I'll have to tell you about that sometime.
That is another bridge that is down the road still.
S14 is out of school tomorrow. So I asked for a PTO day. You know I still have all of that time to use. I'm up to about 31 days a year now, or something like that. It might be hard to leave this company - I love my time off!!
I don't get up that way much, and when I do, it's usually laid back. So I know what you mean by not a lot to do. I don't know how far the drive is back down this way. But the beach or something might be a nice day trip. It's close enough.
They have the pony run each year up there. Keep saying I'll get up there to see that one of these days. Considering my life lately, a lazy day with nothing to do buy chill sounds great. You're lucky!!
Where are you going to see the Super Bowl? We have a couple of parties to choose from, but haven't decided yet.
Still haven't taken that list class yet. You sure they haven't developed a pill yet? I don't know how I remembered that, but it made me laugh when I did. So I just had to mention my list problem. My staff jokes me about it too.
Heck, how do you think I got my promotion to manager? LOL
