Thanks T. The prayers are greatly needed and appreciated...

H sent me several emails today (and did on monday, too). Don't know what is up. None were anything special.

He asked me if I would mind if he went out with Tom on Saturday night. We already had planned on the calendar that he would spend some time Friday night and then Saturday afternoon with the kids. So why did he think he needed my permission?

I told him that was fine, and then I asked him if he was still coming on Friday night and Saturday afternoon. I also asked what he had found out about the closing (was supposed to be Friday).

His reply?

No clue on closing yet and I need to know today.

I have to have a cashiers check and that will be real tricky if I do not get some money deposited in Glenwood State Bank to cover the 500-600 over the 20K I have from mom and dad

The account he referred to is an old, old acct. he opened back in high school, it has his and his dad's name on it. I don't know why but we never bothered to close it, it only has like $100 in it....

I found it strange it was like there was some big puzzle how to solve that problem...

I know I am not his problem solver but I did reply back, "I would imagine you could write a check out of our checking and deposit it in your Glenwood account".

Seriously, duh! The man is in sales and marketing for a living. I am sure he had figured that out...We are separating our checking out next month, I wanted to pay my tuition bill for my night class ($1100) first and he was hoping I would wait until after closing to take money out of the account so it didn't raise any red flags to the mortgage company.

But when we do separate we will each get half of what is in there so there was no reason for him to be worried about $500-600. Once I take my half out he can use all of his to buy blow up dolls and party hats for all I care....

The only sad moment I had was when my SIL texted me during my night class. She said "Someone is walking! WE witnessed several steps tonight, so look out world!" My niece turns one next week, and just imagining SIL and BIL laughing and watching their little daughter take her first steps for some reason, I wanted to bawl. B/C it is such a sweet, simple part of being a couple. I am going to miss being part of a 'team'...
