Not much going on. But it has been a very busy day.
Ran errands, took the girls to the mall, h picked them up, I cooked all of us a pretty good dinner, and yes, h ate with us.
S18 and I had a nice visit on the patio. He said to me: Why are you so worried about dad when you know what the inevitable is? I asked him to explain himself and he said that eventually, h will move home. S said is dad is going around in circles and then said, where does he always end up--here. Kind of interesting how he put it but I listened to him.
Aside from that, h left and he will be here again midweek. The kids want to help him celebrate his birthday in a few weeks. We are going to make one of his favorite meals--stuffed shells.
I haven't made that in ages so it will be fun to finally get to make it again.
Okay, yes, I did get a kiss and ILY tonight.

It is odd though, isn't it? I don't get just one, I get at least a few.
H and D16 sat in the car talking for an hour lastnight. She was telling me that he was saying that God uses terrible circumstances for the good and to teach us something. Okay.......
Then she also told me that he really liked my broccoli. I was laughing and asked why. She said he hasn't had it in awhile but it was really good and the best part of the meal. I laughed. I did make hollaindaise sauce and poured it on top.
He told her he would be coming over in a few days.

I am reading about that horrible ice storm that is wreaking havoc on much of the country. Feel free to come out here. 30's tonight and 60's tomorrow with lots of sunshine!!
Not much to report. Since tomorrow is Wednesday, H will be over. I've been keeping very busy with running around and my book selling stuff.
Other than that, I am boring!!!!!!!!!!

It's pouring down rain here right now & we are expecting it to turn to ice then snow by morning. I love the snow but I hate the ice that comes with it & no one knows how to drive here in the south. I'm staying home tomorrow!!! That is one good thing about not working.
I think I may have mentioned how H has been talking to D16 about Joseph from the Old Testament about how God used something bad for good? Well, guess what today's Charlyne Cares email was about? You guessed it, Joseph! It gave me the chills.
I hope most of you have electricity this morning as I know this latest ice storm is really bad.

M, You are not boring. Your situation is moving at a snail's pace, but that's good for what needs to be done...baked up nicely and ready to go on w/his life.
Our weather isn't much better here. Snow yesterday and last nice sleet/freezing rain. Still doing a little bit of the sleet here and the black ice is nasty. What I wouldn't give for your temps right about now!
Enjoy your day. BTW, God is working on him behind the scenes!
Sit quietly, the answers will reveal themselves when you least expect them to. The past is gone, the present is a gift and you need to focus on today, allow the future to reveal itself when it is ready.
His birthday is in two weeks and we (or should I say I) am going to cook dinner. We are going to do one of his very favs--stuffed shells and of course I will let D16 (who turns 17 next week) do the dessert honors.
