Sorry to hear about the health issues. Also sorry to hear that both yur child and Kerry's are struggling with some type of "visable minority" issues. I can't help but think that this type of behaviour in a child must stem from the home. i know that we (my stbx and I) were very carefull with D8 to make sure that she knew and knows that differences need to be embraced and not frowned upon. I guess it shows that even though some recent events in American politics are encouraging there is still alot of work to be done in the homes around the world. I grew up with this not on a visable minority difference but to a much lesser extent with my family name which is of course Italian. I know it does not compare but because of my small negative experience, I try to make sure that D8 welcomes other cultures.
