From the "fun" thread:
I had a busy day! W the 2 younger kids and I, as well as W's parents, took a bus tour to Phoenix to see "Lion King" on stage. It was a pretty good show, some things I would have done differently, but still impressive. Especially the costumes!
I just asked W if she had her schedule yet, she said, "Yes, but I haven't made all of the appointments yet". I'm torn on that, if I go ahead and make the MC appointment anyway, she has the perfect opportunity to shoot it down. She has a built in out. So, I think for now I have to wait for her. Because I think that for her to go all of the stars are going to have to line up just right. If she just doesn't produce, that's pretty much an answer, anyway. And, after two months, I would say it's pretty close to that point anyway.
Haven't told her about the refinancing yet, I would like to do that without the kids right there. I can start that ball rolling, anyway, before I talk to her, without committing to anything.
I started doing the taxes last night, and did not like what I was finding at all! Her going to back to work is going to hurt a LOT more than I thought it would tax-wise. I'd been expecting a refund. Unless I goofed, it isn't going to be a refund, and is actually going to be a substantial payment! She isn't going to like to hear that. And we know whose fault that will be. I'm not saying a thing until I have more of the documentation in hand, and am sure the number is right.
