Sandi,

I do not pressure my wife at all about going to church or having bible studies, I let her know that Jesus loves her and wants to have a personal relationship with her, no pressure. I left it at that, and just pray for her everyday. I believe that is one of the reasons she has not continued to pursue the divorce with vigor, Because God has been working on her heart. I pray for her protection , from outside influences and the evil one.

I cannot be much of a help spiritually for her if I don't keep my relationship with Jesus my top priority. He will take care of our situation. He is in control. It is hard, becuause I love her so much. Thanks Sandi.

I know you love her very much, Craig. I prayed real hard for her and you this morning. I know it is hard not to press our loved ones, but even after I became a Christian i could not stand for another Church member to start "preaching" to me about what they thought I should be like. Not that you would do the same thing.....I'm just yapping. Trying to tell you in my poor way that I think I understand how intense this must be for you. I will continue to pray for her and the same things you listed. I believe in time that she will come around without any pressure from you.....only the Lord working on her heart. Then things will stand a chance in your M. I won't forget about her or you in my prayers.

Sandi

After reading some of the post this morning , I believe we all tend to really overthink this whole process of db'ing. I know I am guilty of that. It is actually very simple, but it is hard to implement.I think the longer you are in this the more comfortable you become. Time is the key, and prayer, continous prayer.

I was talking to my wife last night about my ex sister in-law . She just found out that her husband has been having an affair and was planning on divorcing him. Tough situation. My wife said that was too bad and she knew how hard it was because she was getting a divorce. She must have forgot that I was the one she was in the process of divorcing.I really wanted to say something, but I bit my tongue and let her finish. It flabbergasts me at how much of a fog she can be in. NO comprehension. She is so removed from reality sometimes.

Of course. It is like she was talking in the third person.

I think you did better than I would have.

I woul dhave been too tempted to crack wise, "Oh you poor thing, he must be a brute."

That would have gone over like a lead balloon.I still value my private parts even if I have not used them for a while.

That is one thing that needs to be brought more often, because it is a fact, it is a must to have a sense of humor through out this process.Sometimes we are way too serious, myself included.
