Sometimes I wonder if being the "first love" is part of the problem for them. My H has said that he thinks he jumped at the first girl who made him feel special because he was afraid that he wouldn't get another opportunity!

I also read somewhere that MLCers often struggle with the idea of why should they be held for life to a promise they made when they were teenagers and had no idea what their promise really entailed!
