TONS of mail came in before I learned how to filter it into a junk mailbox. I didn't communicate with anyone and I filtered x-rated images out (no easy task). That's how I fooled myself into thinking I was safe in the lions den. I later found out how wrong I was, but that's all over with now, thankfully.
