You could email and act as if you know it's ow reading this, so say something like "please let xh know that 'dog" died recently and thought he'd want to know as "Dog" was a loving companion to both of us and if xh is interested in details, I'll send them." (or say "Dog" died peacefully if true, or the diagnosis and cause of death, etc'")
Add SMILEY FACE or SAD FACE depending on whether you are talking about the dog, or signing off with your new GAL attitude. what do others think of relaying the info that xh may appreciate, and in a way that reveals she knows OW is reading the emails, without saying it? j-
