So I had a fabulous time with my family. I saw everyone but one nephew and his family. (He is deployed in the Middle East.) Also one niece didn't show up, but she is another story. Ds had a great time and we even brought one niece home with us for a couple of days. Two of my SILs will be coming to visit and see the house on Wed.
H called a few times while we were gone. I didn't call at all, just sent one text to let him know we made it safely. I drove his new car as mine needs a minor repair. He let me know today I was probably driving it too fast for a new car. Opps, don't set me loose on the turnpike with it. I was driving slower than he normally does so I thought I was OK. I figured he would fly off the handle but he told me not to worry about. Wow, who is this new alien that has been sent from world unknown?!
Tomorrow promises to be another fun day. I will be having book club and scrapbooking with my bestfriends. (non cyber that is:O)
OH, when I got home my new snowblower was sitting in the garage. Holy crap, it looks big enough to kill myself with!

It has been a good week so far. My niece enjoyed her visit and D11 enjoyed having her here.
Yesterday I went to my friends house for book club. As always we had good food, good drinks and good times. We actually make scrapbooks of the books we read and take a photo each time. It is funny looking back at the photos for the past 5 years and seeing how I have changed. It is amazing what a picture shows. The pics over the past year look like a much happier me than a couple of years ago.
Two of my SIL's (my family) came today for lunch. It was the first they have seen the house so it was fun showing it off. It was also fun having six kids in the house launghing and enjoying themselves. One good thing to come out of this is that I am reconnecting with my family that I had seperated myself from over the years. I know we will be doing a lot more together in the future.

As usual I don't have much to post. My weekly updates have become less than that. I did go out on Saturday. I started off at a nice, calm wine tasting w/ friends from the skating club. I then headed out with a few people to several other places. I did a lot of dancing and had a lot of fun. It is amazing how much I missed out on being locked up for 20 years.

Oh, that sounds awful, locked up! Like in a soap opera where you were tucked away in one of those oh-so-convenient "secret rooms" they always have lying around...
I am so glad you had fun though. I found myself flirting today TWICE with two different men....so I kind of know what you mean...
I wasn't literally locked up...emotionally though which can be just as bad. I was such a fun person once and I want to be fun again. I want to teach my daughters to be happy fun people too. The best way is by example.
