Not a whole lot to report...I have been concentrating on my work a little more. I have also been working on my social life a little bit. I have a supper date set up with a lawyer who I have been talking to for the last couple of nights. She actually turns 44 on the 26th...I know ali will get a kick out of figuring what all that means! The teacher and i have struggled to actually talk on the phone. She is 36 and has no children. i have a hunch she probably wants...which would be normal. Regardless what happens this evening I at least need to meet this lady... airline employee is still in the wings....I have a few others that I can call for a friendly date. So if nothing else, i am building a bank of women that I can talk to and be social with. D8 called last night and again this AM wondering if I could get off work to go skating with her and her school. I said I would try and I will. I used to do it every Wednesday for the last two years..(6 times a yr.). So, she has grown accustomed to it....it's the least I can do for my baby...she rarely asks for anything. Mother of my daughter called to ask for my advice regarding business...she actually gave me a preamble on how she has always valued my opinion blah blah blah.... I could not help but ask if she did not have someone else she could talk to about that (tongue in cheek). A strange silence ensued for a few seconds. Anyway, i listened and opined....She asked if I would mind if she took D8 for the whole spring break down south somewhere. i replied that I do not see D8 nearly as much as I would like to but since I am not selfish, if D8 wanted to go, then I would not object. Also, could not help but give her a little shot on her spending habits and how they had not changed. She is still doing alot of travelling. I just hope she is not planning on Mexico or I may have to object to that destination.
