A New Decade

So I decided it's time for a new thread, a new beginning for the year, since today is my birthday. HaPpY nEw YeAr To Me!!! I received a nice kiss for my birthday this morning ....... from (drum roll ...........) my cat!!!

The other night when I was out with my 3 male friends, I mentioned it was going to be my b'day on Tues. Can't remember what MF3 said, but he said something & then I said, so where are we going to dinner on my b'day?? He gave a positive response to going to dinner with me. (Ah, my memory is so bad, as to what he said). Anyway, I didn't expect a positive response or for him to really agree, so I dropped the subject. Can I hit myself with a 2x4?? Are those rules game??? After talking with my sister last night she said, if he really didn't want to go, he would have made an excuse. Thing is .... is over these almost 2 years - I have gotten used to being turned down (well, by my H anyway).

Well, I decided, that I had nothing to loose & left MF3, a message a few mintues ago, asking him if he was available or interested in dinner tonight or interested in going out for a drink tomorrow night. Aaaahhh, I was so nervous. But well, I have nothing to loose - right?? That's right. And the game of life goes on.....as I begin to shuffle the cards.....roll the dice & see where it takes me!
