you don't have to tell him about you on the discussion board. You can just tell him about the book.

that's true--I see that I tend to think of it all as one thing!

I'm kinda thinking, having burned through 7 different marriage counselors is not a promising sign, tho.

Hoos,

Did you know that you and I are VERY close together in how our scenarios are playing out? My H got his trailor court contract and "officially" moved out on 5/17.

yikes... 7?

of course it is your call. If he has actively tried everything he may have read the book already anyway.

pffft....7? That's the average isn't it? I've gone through 7 too.

Unfortunately that's what happens when you change jobs (and therefore EAP) and you try MC and then IC and then MC again.

I'd have given anything if my H had agreed to one MC!

I know! And yet I get chastised when I say so on these boards by the WAWs, AWAWs and FWAWs, with a "We're not all the same, you know!"

And I know they're not, and yet the SITUATIONS -- the SCRIPTS -- are, almost always, a variation on one of only two or three different themes.

I never new the old version, Hoozh, but came to you and your sitch midstream, I guess. But I sure do love -- and respect the HELL out of -- this new version.

FWIW, I think you'd be a fine catch.
