It amazes me how these situations always seem to play out in exactly the same ways, with minor differences in names and details.

I know! And yet I get chastised when I say so on these boards by the WAWs, AWAWs and FWAWs, with a "We're not all the same, you know!"

And I know they're not, and yet the SITUATIONS -- the SCRIPTS -- are, almost always, a variation on one of only two or three different themes.
